1. Dachsund
At number 1 on our list, we have the Dachsund, a dog known for its intelligence, but also for the fact that it’s fairly independent. He doesn’t care all that much what you want, and so it’s going to be one of the hardest dogs to potty train. Going out for a walk isn’t a priority for them either, if it’s raining or they simply don’t feel like it. Try to work things out with them via positive training, but you can try crate training as well, it’s the method which seems to work best.
2. Afghan Hound
A gorgeous dog, the Afghan Hound is going to impress and it can be a great dog to have. At the same time, it’s fairly independent, to the point where it’s been compared with a cat. They’re going to do their own thing, so once again, it’s not going to be easy to potty train. If you haven’t gotten your dog yet, this is one of the major downsides of having an Afghan Hound, its personality and difficulty of training.
3. Jack Russell Terrier

They can still be trained, you just need to keep at it and ideally you need to do it before they start growing up, while they’re still puppies.
4. Dalmatian
As beautiful as they are, Dalmatians don’t come without strings attached. It’s not the easiest to train breed, and the independence they show will make it more difficult to do any sort of teaching with them, not just potty training. That doesn’t make it impossible, just more difficult than with other breeds. If you dream about having your own Dalmatian, you can certainly get one, just expect to start his training very early on, and to be serious about it, or you’re just making your own life harder.
5. Bichon Frise
If you love toy breeds, then the Bichon Frise could be a good choice for you, but keep in mind this aspect, that their potty training can be problematic. Smaller dogs, with smaller bladders, the Bichon Frise will pee fairly often, and so it’s a particular problem with them.
6. Pug
Pugs are other small dogs, which people love getting, but they have their own issues. Potty training is an issue for some of them, and these dogs will require special attention in this one area. If it’s not good weather, then they’re likely not going to want to go for a walk.
7. Pekingese

8. Beagle

10. Pomeranian
It’s a small dog, obviously, and it’s got a personality of its own. You need to be the boss in that relationship, or the dog will not listen to you, and it will be a difficult dog breed to potty train.
